Hi all,
I'm having a problem with getting WBEM installed on a hyper-v server. The virtual server is a Windows 2008 R2 X64 and I would like to monitor it using HP SIM 6.3 but for me to do that I understand I need to install WBEM, SNMP and HP Insight Management Agents (please correct me if I'm wrong). When trying to install the Management Agents and WBEM I'm getting failed dependencies asking for me to install the HP ProLiant Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows. When I do try and install this it is telling me that the hardware is not present which is correct as its a virtual machine.
I believe this is a problem with 2008 R2 servers???
Anybody know a fix to this or another way to monitor a 2008 R2 server in HP SIM?
Thanks
Conal
