WBEM subscription - cannot to send test event to CMS
Hello Masters!
I have Windows CMS and few HP-UX clients. I'm trying to subscribe WBEM events for my clientes.
I use the following command to send a test event to my CMS:
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/send_test_event disk_em
I have no problem with clients which are configured in the same subnet as my CMS, but I can't received the test event generated by machines from different subnet. I've checked registrar.log and noticed the foloowing entries:
-------------------Start Event--------------------
Event 2960 occurred at Wed Nov 18 10:46:47.025031 2009
Process ID: 8137 (/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/registrar) Log Level: Error
process_time_event: Expired awaiting-reply object, socket=14
-------------------End Event----------------------
-------------------Start Event--------------------
Event 2937 occurred at Wed Nov 18 10:46:47.025400 2009
Process ID: 8137 (/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/registrar) Log Level: Error
abort_awaiting_reply_obj: socket=14: Connection aborted
-------------------End Event----------------------
Any advice?
ragards,
Y.

Re: WBEM subscription - cannot to send test event to CMS
Check if a subscribtion for SIM does exist on the HP-UX system. If you're using WEBES on the CMS too, there must also exist a WEBES subscribtion.
Check if the system can communicate via the necessary ports with the CMS.

Re: WBEM subscription - cannot to send test event to CMS
There is no problem with the port and I'm able to display system properties delivered through WBEM like for other machines on my CMS
