Re: Web-enabled Agent not working
Looking at the services running, I notice that "System Management Homepage" and "Insight Management Agents" not running, and there are no service entries for them. In relation to HP, I do have the following entries for:
HP Insight Event Notifier (Curiously disabled)
HP Insight Foundation Agents (Started)
HP Insight NIC Agents (Started)
HP Insight Server Agents (Started)
HP Insight Storage Agents (Started)
HP ProLiant System Shutdown Service (Started)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the "Systems Management Homepage" and "Insight Management Agents" services running please?
TIA...

Re: Web-enabled Agent not working
I seem to miss the "HP Insight management agents" service...
I do have the "HP system Management Homepage" service up and running.
Could this be the reason why almost none of my management agents work?
Only the "NIC component" and the VC works.
the rest:
- Server component
- Storage component
- foundation component
Are not working..
Can i install this "HP Insight management agents" service manually?
Many thanks on forehand!

Re: Web-enabled Agent not working
Genius - you listed the CP for the agents - that will not get you the SMH 2.0. It is a separate component that has to be installed for the web portion of the Insight Agents to work in SS 7.20. I would suggest you install that component, it is in the 7.20 PSP, and see if that clears up some of your issues.
Silvester - in short the answer to your question is "yes"! Uh, I would suggest that you try and install the agent components in the 7.20 PSP - you can download them individually if you would like so you don't have to get the entire PSP. The NIC agent accounts for a relatively small amount of data that gets contributed to the overall management information presented in the SMH. If you don't have the other agents running you will not see a "large" part of what is available.
