What is the proper way to upgrade psp sorftware on client servers from SIM

We have a ton of servers that have older version of PSP software on them. I would like to update them to 8.25. I have 8.25 in our repository on our SIM server for 2003 and 2008 OSs.
I know I can push out the Initial Proliant Support Pack from the sim server if it currently doesn't exist on the client. This doens't seem to work if an older version of PSP exists on the client server.
I have done a configure or repair agents to the client server successfully, but it didn't put the 8.25a version or homepage on the client server. It just fixes what may be broken.
How do I push a the newest version of PSP 8.25 to servers that have an older version of PSP installed on them?

you could run the PSP from a remote machine

when SUM starts it will allow you to scan local or remote machines so you can add the machines you want to update run the scan and then deploy the requierd drivers and firmware.

i would advise doing them in batches of 5 as i have found it can bomb out with more.

please explain. this doesn't make any sense to me. I can manually put the PSP cd in or run it from a network share on the client server, but I want to push it from HPSIM 5.3. This worked in the past but now it doesn't. Could any MS Security Patch cause this not to work anymore???

The client servers are trusted by the SIM server and have the cert installed. When I do a Initial PSP install, it goes to 1% and then it disappears.

I just built up a clean 2008 x64 server with no PSP installed. I discovered the client server with HP SIM and tried to push the initial psp to it. It got to 2% and then went blank again. I'm at a loss to why this is failing. Please help
