For some reason neither my Insight Manager or my Systems Insight Managers Servers are getting any info from my 2003 servers. Currently I only have 2 W2K3 servers, one an Exchange server and the other is the SIM server and will be SMS 2003. But the old Insight Manager server doesn't see them either, it was able to find the new SIM server, but got no info from it, the other W2K3 server isn't even found.
I figure it has something to do with the enhanced security with W2K3 but I have no idea what. Anyone else have the problem?
Lars

Solution
The SNMP service on Windows 2003 is default to only accept from localhost. You have to either change it to accept from all hosts or add the IP Address/Hostname of the Insight machine to each host. If you choose to add the insight machine to the hosts, make sure you don't remove localhost, as it is required for the web-based management agents to work properly.
