Windows XP SP2 stops access to SIM4.1
After installing SP2 on Windows XP I can no longer browse to SIM4.1 server.
Help..
IE will start to load the SIM page, then does some checking (for Java etc) and stops with Applet com.hp.mx.portal.. message at bottom of screen.
Have turned off newly installed firewall, implemented fix in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 878461, and added SIM server to trusted sites. Still goes not work.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem (besides uninstalling SP2)??
Many Thanks Paul

Re: Windows XP SP2 stops access to SIM4.1
Paul,
Have you applied the SP1 to HPSIM 4.1?
There's a problem introduced by MS Patch MS04-025.
