You don't have permission to access / on this server when accessing :2381

I have the following HP management agents installed:
hpasm-7.2.0b-204
hprsm-7.2.0b-204
hpsmh-2.0.0-103
ucd-snmp-cmaX-4.2.5-259
ucd-snmp-cmaX-devel-4.2.5-259
ucd-snmp-cmaX-utils-4.2.5-259

When I try to go to https://:2381 I get the following error:
========================
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
========================

This is running on a RedHat AS 2.1 server on a Proliant DL380. I have this same thing running on about 100+ other servers and this is the only system with the problem.

Any suggestion?

Please check if IP Binding / IP Restriction is enabled on this server. If you enable IP Binding without specifying the IP address and Subnet mask, then SMH can be accessed only from localhost.

Try browsing to SMH from localhost and login. If it is successful, then check IP binding settings under settings -> System Management Homepage -> security -> IP Binding. Disable the check box, if it is enabled. Similarly Check IP Restriction also.

Hope it works for you!

Also check the file permissions of the following folder. /opt/hp/hpsmh

File owner and group should be hpsmh.
File permission is 660

(Please note: Few files under /opt/hp/hpsmh/bin directory are set to root).
