Add extra 1TB of storage to ML350 G9 SFF

Hi, I'd like to know what hardware I need get (and choises)  in order to add extra 1TB of storage to my client's ML350 G9 SFF server without touching or affecting current RAID set.

I asked the same question to my local hp parts supplyer with server spec and gave me a quote for adding extra drive to current RAID set and told me (i kinda doubt) it's the only way to add extra storage.

Are there any SATA ports on motherboard? (server is located in restricted area and 300miles away. so, I can not just go and open to check)
Is it possible to add 1TB SATA HDD drive (like 655710-B21 ) with cage kit? (like 778157-B21

Server spec :
7545360-AJBL ML350 Gen9(4Core)
ML350 Gen9 SFF(2.5inch)
Xeon E5-2623 v4 2.60GHz 1P/4C CPU
8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2400T-R
9.5mm SATA DVD-RW drive
HP Smart Array P440ar/2G FBWC Controller(FIO)
Smart Array / Host Bus Adaptor cable kit
1TB 7.2krpm SC 2.5in 12G SAS DS HDD x 4
HP 500W FS Platinum power supply x 2

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

You can add the extra hard disk in your server if any free slot available.

If an extra hard disk slot is not available, you have to add the hard disk cage kit first.

Follow the below documents for more clarification.

So I just need to add the drive to one of the open bays and it will add it to the existing array and expand the drive space?
