What is the purpose of the power supply and splitter (USB Coax Power Connector Cable which replaces AC Power Adapter ) in AF625A?

The AF625A KVM console serial adapter requires external power in order to operate. The power can come from either the included AC power adapter or from a USB source with sufficient power by using the supplied "USB Coax Power Connector Cable".

The 4-way expander/splitter cable can be used to power up to four KVM console serial adapters using a single AC power adapter.
