HP R/T 3000 firmware upgrade
Hi,
We are running 4x HPE R3000 ups.
The firmware on the network module is ancient (februari 2015) and is having trouble sending email...
So I want to upgrade them but it’s an international firm running 24/7...
I believe I can just upgrade it’s firmware without restarting or any downtime because it will not touch the ups itself and only the management card.
Anybody else did this with this device or an r5000?
The reason I ask because in the upgrade notes it says: Reboot is required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.
Drivers & software | HPE Uninterruptible Power System Network Module (AF465A) Firmware
Can you confirm I will not have downtime
/ reboot.

Re: HP R/T 3000 firmware upgrade
Hello,
You have to arrange downtime to update firmware.
Or you need one more UPS for redundancy
