Can someone tell me how to reset J1497A?

It seems like the keyboard stops working
once in a while on the console switch whenever I keep toggling between the systems.
I hope this can be fixed either by upgrading
the firmware or if no patch to fix this
is available a reset may work.
So can someone tell me how do I upgrade the
firmware for this device?
Where do I download the firmware?

If upgrade of firmware would not resolve my problem then how do I reset the switch,
of course not by using the powerswitch.
I was able to do this on belkins by
pressing control 2 times and K and enter
button.
The userguide never tells you how to do it.
