Change HGST HDD Firmware from emc to hpe

Hi guys 

i have some hgst hdd that have emc firmware i want to change firmware of hard disk to hpe how can i do it?

Hello Poolip,

I don't think it is possible to change the firmware from emc to HPE as these patches comes with digital signature and won't update/install if its not the intended hardware.

Hi,

Firmware are vendor specific,

if its EMC drive (or vice-versa) you may not be able to push HPE firmware on it.
