COMPAQ 4 PORT KVM SWITCH SERIES 3315

I just purchased one of these. I hope to use it with Proliant series 3000r and a 1500.
I was wondering if anyone on this site might know if it is manually switched or software driven. The part# 169968-001. Thank You for any help.
