Dl380 Gen 10 with external Enclosure D3710

Hello Community,

I have a server HPE DL380 Gen10.

I would like to add external Drive enclosure D3710 

Kindly advise which controller or HBA is suitable

Below are some options which i was considering

HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10 (8 External Lanes/No Cache) 12G SAS PCIe Plug-in Controller

HPE Smart Array P408e-p SR Gen10 (8 External Lanes/4GB Cache) 12G SAS PCIe Plug-in Controller

Hi,

Just go with the QuickSpecs and choose between these controllers based on your requirement.
The difference I see in both the controllers is that, P408e-p supports 4GB FBWC and SmartCache where as E208e-p does not.
