Firmware Update Not Success Using Ethernet Cable
I Trying To Update Frimware Through ethernet Cable And It Failed. The Status Is The Spesific Ip I Put To Interact With Web Browser Is "Not Secure". How To Solve That? Is that because of the Self-signed Certificate that can be flagged as a not secure by modern browser? but even old browser like IE is not working

Re: Firmware Update Not Success Using Ethernet Cable
Hi @freddy2402 ,
A web browser may flag a website as "Not Secure" for several reasons, such as:
- Absence of SSL certificate: It's possible that the website lacks a current SSL certificate.
- SSL certificate expiration: It's possible that the website's SSL certificate has expired.
- Outdated software: It's possible that an outdated or incompatible browser was used to view the website.
To resolve the "Not Secure" notice, kindly try the following solutions:
- Acquiring and setting up an SSL certificate
- The website's HTTPS protocol should be enabled, and all internal and external links should use HTTP
- Changing the OS version or browser
- Installing an intermediate certificate
- Generating a new Certificate Signing Request
Hope this information has helped you, Please click on the "Thumbs Up/Kudo" icon as a token of appreciation. Also, if this post has helped to solve your issue, consider marking this as an "Accepted Solution".

Re: Firmware Update Not Success Using Ethernet Cable
Hi @freddy2402 ,
Here , I assume, you are posting the issue of unable to access the iLO using its host name.
1) Ping the iLO IP address, it should work.
2) Instead of host name (Https://ip-ilo-4 ) use IP address.
3) Try accessing ilO using IP address on diffirent browsers. You may get success with Chrome.
4) Is both ILO network and host network (Server from which you are trying to access iLO interface) are communicating ?

Re: Firmware Update Not Success Using Ethernet Cable
I think You Misunderstand Something. What I Mean Is I tried Pinging On IP Ilo 4 Address And It Works. But The Ethernet Status Is Unidentified Network And Then When I Tried To Using HTTPS://<ilo-4-ip-address> it comes the error "not secure" in every browser i tried like chrome, firefox (with security turned off), edge, And IE. I think I Already Configure the ILO 4 Ip Address in F10 But Can't Access

Re: Firmware Update Not Success Using Ethernet Cable
Hi @freddy2402 ,
If the network is showing as 'Unidentified network', follow the steps-
1) Check out the network configurations such as IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, DNS
2) Validate the IP address is confgured to proper port. For example, the port is in 10.10.1.x subnet and you configured the IP address 192.168.x.x.
3) Verify network of both iLO IP address and the server in which you are accessing must be in same network and configured with same subnet.
If you are still facing the issue, please post the snap of Network configuration in both iLO and Server, and error snap while accessing iLO console in chrome.

Shiva_JR
