G9 DL380 server wont shutdown
Hi, we have a G9 DL380 server, on this server we have vsphere v 6.7 update 1.
probelm is the server will restart when we click on "shutdown" bottun in esxi.
what we must do ?
its a bug in esxi 6.7.1 or a hardware issue ?

Hello,
It cannot be concluded without a doubt if the issue were due to hardware or an Operating System issue. A few questions to point you in the direction of the issue are:
- How often do you encounter the issue?
- Does the server restart only when you click on 'shutdown' button?
- When the server reboots, are there any critical error messages displayed during POST?
- What is the status of the server's LED?
- Are there error messages in Integrated Management Logs (IML)?

1. when we use shutdown button in esxi
2. only when we click on shutdown button in esxi, physical button is ok
3. no error in POST
4. Green
5. as i can remember there were no any error in IML
