gserial.inf
I'm currently working on a g3 modular smart array (yes i know its old), and i need to access the command line.
after several hours of searching, i know the file required (see subject matter), but i've drawn a blank when it comes to actually locating it.
does anyone know where i might be able to get my hands on it?
many thanks

Re: gserial.inf
Hello,
The document title "HPE P2000 G3 MSA Array Systems - Connecting to the controller CLI port" indicates that "gserial.inf" is but an "USB device driver".
You may download the relevant "USB device driver" from the "HPE P2000 G3 MSA Array Systems" driver download page.
Regards,
I work at HPE

Re: gserial.inf
You need to access the command line of your g3 modular smart array. Here are some possible sources that I found:
Document Display | HPE Support CenterThis document provides instructions on how to connect to the controller CLI port of the P2000 G3 MSA Array Systems, and how to download the gserial.inf file from the HPE website or the Software Support/documentation CD that shipped with your product.
USB to Serial (RS-232/DB9): CH340/CH341 Driver This website provides a driver download for USB to serial programmable devices with the ch340g/ch340c/ch314 chipsets, which might be compatible with your g3 modular smart array. The download link and the device ID are given on the website.
Acer Netchip Gadget Serial v2.4 port (COM/LPT/Serial) drivers This website provides a driver download for the Netchip Gadget Serial v2.4 port, which might also work with your g3 modular smart array. The download link, the version, the date, and the INF file name are given on the website.
I hope this helps you find the file that you are looking for.
