Help for storage configuration and parts on HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen9 Server
Hi guys,
This is my first post on this forum and also the first time I have had a HP enterprise product, I am the proud wonder of a brand new (never used) ML 350 Gen9 Server. PN 754536-B21 to which I pan to add a second CPU.
The server comes with a 8 drive SFF cage with 4 drives installed. I want to upgrade it to allow for the installation of 4 out of the 5 remaining cage spaces on the server.
I would really appreciate any help from you when it comes to parts needed.
So far, and from having spent the last 48 hours browsing through different HPE product pages, forums, etc I have found that I would need the following:
4 x HP ML350 Gen9 8SFF Hard Drive Cage Kit PN 778157-B21
2 x HP 12Gb SAS Expander Card for ML350 Gen9 PN 769635-B21
2 x HP H240 12Gb 2-ports internal smart HBA 726907-B21
or
2 x HP H240 12Gb 2-ports internal FIO smart HBA 761873-B21
Could you please confirm that this could work and if I need any additional parts? 2.5" disk trays, disk covers, cables and so on?
Thank you in advance.
