How to disable XHCI

How to disable XHCI at HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus? I don't find XHCI in BIOS.

Hi,

There is no such option in BIOS to disable or enable XHCI (eXtensible Host Controller Interface).

What is the issue with the server that you have to disable XHCI?

I move HDD with FreeBSD 9.0 from old server to HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus. When I connect USB keyboard to server, I have error message:

usb_alloc_device: device init 2 failed (USB_ERR_IOERROR, ignored)
ugen0.2: <Unknown> at usbus0 (disconnected)
uhub_reattach_port: could not allocate new device

Hi,

I am sorry, but there is no such setting in MicroServer bios.
If the keyboard is working well outside of OS, i.e. in the BIOS, then hardware wise no issues.
I can only suggest to update BIOS and other related firmware/drivers for this server, but not sure if thats going to fix your issue.

If you still need support, try logging a HPE Support case.
