Upgrading 3PAR 7K to 3.3.1 is not recommended unless there is a particular feature requirement... The supported Inform version is 3.2.2 MU6.
What is the reason for upgrading to 3.3.1?

You can directly upgrade the SP to the latest 5.0.8 version, unless it is a supermicro.
It is fully supported with 3PAR OS 3.2.2.MU6.
