HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530SFP+ Adapter showing FW NA after running SPP
Have a proliant DL360 Gen10, after running April 2024 SPP the HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530SFP+ Adapter is showing FW NA (other hosts upgraded to 7.19.21), and adapter is not showing in VMware.. ILO sees all other info about the adapter.
Tried to re-run the SPP and tried os-based online FW flash. Is there means to re-flash the card outside one of the OS-based online upgrades as none of those sees the adapter to upgrade, or is the adapter just "bricked" at this point and needs to be replaced?

Re: HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530SFP+ Adapter showing FW NA after running SPP
Hi,
If you see this page, it says n/a for iSCSI Version FCoE Version, are you referring to this?
Did you restart the server to check if this issue resolves?
Thank You!

Re: HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530SFP+ Adapter showing FW NA after running SPP
Hello Suman, thank you for the reply.
These are not being used for iSCSI...we're using them as network adapters for vSphere.
Prior to running the SPP, the adpter was working fine and showed FW Version 7.19.14...on machines that successfully upgraded, we're seeing 7.19.21. We've now had a two machines go through the exact same SPP, and reporting NA for the firmware version with the card no longer accessible. I'm just curious if there is means to re-flash these outside the Linux and/or VMware online update utilities, or when they get to this state, is it always a case that the card has to be replaced?
Thanks

Re: HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530SFP+ Adapter showing FW NA after running SPP
Hi,
If possible, you may try any one of the following:
Insert these cards in any other server and update firmware.
Or in the same server, Update firmware using UEFI/BIOS.
Thank You!
