HP MicroServer Gen 8 very slow iLO interface when installing Proxmox or Debian 12.
Hello,
I'm contacting you because I can't find a solution to my problem.
I have an upgraded HP MicroServer Gen 8 with a Xeon E3-XXXX CPU and 16GB RAM.
I've also replaced the disk drive with an SSD. When I first installed TrueNAS (CE) in a metal bar, I had no problems, but I'd like to optimize my installation by installing Proxmox.
During this installation, the iLO interface is very slow, almost unusable, whereas it is not with the HP smart software, etc. I tried with the Proxmox interface.
I've tried reinstalling True NAS, but in the latest version and it's the same.
I get ATA0 errors, sometimes corrupted Bios and also DMAR problems.
I'm up to date with the latest version of the Bios for the Proliant MicroServer Gen8, I have nothing else installed on the machine.
No disks in the RAID bays, I'm using the original Bi120 controller.
iLO is seen OK in the Interface, I've tried restoring the default Bios settings, resetting the iLO, but nothing helps.
I can't find any explanation.
There was a similar question on the forum, but with a Raid 422 or 222 controller, and changing it seems to have solved the problem.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
