Hp R5500 XR SNMP module not getting console through Hyper terminal

Hi ,
I have a hp UPS R5500 XR and it was facing problem with Snmp module..So we replaced the SNMP module with the new one.After that i tried to give an Ip to the hyper terminal with all the relavant parameters needed to access but still i am not getting the console..kindly suggest
