Hello together,
I am trying to implement a couple of HPE PDUs in our monitoring, however the SNMP does not respond any data. I enabled all of SNMP versions and ensured that the snmp protocol is opening.
It seems to me that no more topics for SNMP with PDU. Does somebody experience such the issues?
Thank you.

Re: HPE G2 Series - SNMP does not respond
Hi,
Not sure which model of G2 PDU you have, but here is the guide, refer to page# 46

Re: HPE G2 Series - SNMP does not respond
Hi @suman
Thanks for providing me the guide.
Our model is HPE G2 Switched 3.6kVA/IEC C20 Detachable 16A/100-240V Outlets (12) C13 (4) C19/Vertical WW PDU (P9S12A).
We expect to use SNMP V1/2c Manager and not SNMP Trap for monitoring. From SNMP configuration, it requries SNMP Managers' IP addresses. Our problem is, the PDUs are being connected over site-to-site VPN and we do not know exactly what IP address should be provided there. We tried with multiple possible IP addresses, but it did not work.
Kind Regards,

SolutionHi,
Please refer to this guide on page# 92-94
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00006907en_us
There are some SNMP related fixes in the Firmware, check if it needs to be updated.
Thank You!

Re: HPE G2 Series - SNMP does not respond
Hi @Suman_1978
Thank you for your help.
SNMP worked well when I queried data locally., so the configuration and firmware are not the case.
We will have to figure out the IP address will be used over the VPN connection.
KInd Regards,
