HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server / What is needed to view the disks
Hello, we have an HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10, whose previous administrator did not leave us the Windows key. I am trying to use a USB drive with the Hiren's Boot tool to reset the key, but I do not see the server disks. I also tried with another USB with an OS to format and they do not appear either. What is needed so I can see them? If you could help me.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server / What is needed to view the disks
During System boot, check see if you have any Host Bus Adaptors installed which you can view/configure with combination key-press during System Boot.
From the Host Bus Storage Adaptor, you should be able to see any configured storage volumes available to the system

Re: HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server / What is needed to view the disks
Dear Juan9
At first, Please inform us how many disks are installed in this server. secondly what is the server running mode, RAID configured or not.
for booting via OS media it might be need to update controller driver Please check your controller information and download from HPE DL20 Gen10 Server.
it will help you to see the Virtual disk during OS instalation.
Thanks & Regards...
Rabindra

Hello, I wasn't at work. It has two hard drives, the SATA configuration is Intel VROC SATA Support, I tried in AHCI mode with no results.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server / What is needed to view the disks
Dear Juan9
first of all you have to enable VROC controller in BIOS menu set it in RAID mode, not SATA mode or AHCI mode. after that you have to create RAID 1 volume, then you have to install OS by booting OS media. if requaired Please validate SATA VROC controller driver for available disk during OS installation.
for more assistance, feel free to reach us.
If you think my suggestion will helpful and resolved your issue. Please mark this as solution provided.
Thanks & Regards...
Rabindra
