HPE Smart Array P440ar vs P440ar/2g

Hi, please tell me what are the differences between these names? are these different models? Thanks for answer.

Just notation. There are different part numbers for the PCIe vs the MB mounted RAID controllers.

726736-B21 is the P440ar. It is the MB mounted controller and always 2G.

That part also includes the HPE Smart Storage Battery the backup power source necessary to protect the data on the Flash-backed Write Cache
