HPE SR100i Gen 10 + SW RAID - no configurable physical drives attached issue

Dear All, 

           I have a HPE DL380 Gen10 plus, and i found that i have the following issue when trying to form raid, is there something wrong with the raid card ? i have enabled the following  F9 - RBSU - storage options - sata controller options - embedded sata configuration - smart array sw raid support,  any help would be appreicated

i found a post saying that the S100i is only supported SATA Drives, if i'm using SSD i need E208 or P408, is that true ?

Hello,

The SW RAID controller needs to be first enabled in the server's BIOS. You may refer to section "Enabling embedded chipset SATA controller support" of the UEFI System Utilities User Guide for HPE ProLiant Gen10, ProLiant Gen10 Plus Servers, and HPE Synergy for how to do so.

You may refer to section "HPE SR100i Gen10 Plus Software RAID features and functionalities" for list of supported SATA and NVMe drives.

yes i have already enabled in Bios, but i'm using SSD HDD, just wonder this raid is only supported SATA HDD ?

From features and functionalities section of the "HPE SR Gen10 Plus Software RAID User Guide", it may be said that HPE SR100i Gen10 Plus Software RAID provides software RAID, for use with Microsoft Windows operating systems, on SATA and NVMe drives only.
