HSTNS-2141 Server Cache module
Dear community, we bought a hp server (hstns-2141) . The server has an P421i Smart Array, with no cache module, so we can create only Raid 0 or 1 logical volume. My question is if we buy a cache module, then the server will be able to create other Raids, it is so simple?
thanks

Re: HSTNS-2141 Server Cache module
Hi,
Good Day. Any Raid beyond 0 and 1 will require a cache module so adding a cache module will allow you to create the different types of Raid level as described in the quickspecs of the controller:-

Hope this helps you.

Bunsol.
