I just took over a site and I not sure if the RAID aray and volumes are set up correctly.
I just took over a site that hase two seperate locations. Each location has its own server (sorely outdated). The servers are access through HP Server Manager.
The
It has 3 virtual disk: 1. has 419 GB capacity- 1.00 MB unallocated- Partition MBR. Bus type is RAID
2. has 419 GB capacity- 0.00B unallocated - Partion MBR. Bus type is RAID.
3. is exact same as #2.
G: drive has capacity of 419 GB and 380 GB free space
C: drive has capacity of 419 GB and 23.4 GB od free space.
E:drive has 419 GB capacity and 409 GB free space.
The system is doing odd things and not communicating with the programs correctly.
Should I start with defragment/optimize drive and disk clean up. I have no idea how long it has been since anything was done to thw system.
I feel like the RAID array and memory wasn't set correctly.
Can someone please point me in the right direction. I'm new to the industry and way over my head. Thanks in advance!
