iLO AlertMail by power failure
Hi,
Is't correct that iLO AlertMail doesn't work if the server got a complete power failure, assuming dat iLo doesn't have a backup battery?
And if so, is there a simple solution to got a notice if a server gets down by a power failure. Can iLo federation be a solution?
Thanx

Re: iLO AlertMail by power failure
@servers-General
In case of abrupt power loss/complete power failure ILO will will not be able log the event in IML and so it will not be sending email alert.
Upon Power restore it will log the event as "ILO power restore" or "server reset" and those alert will be sent to email recipient.
ILO Federation will be a good option to check servers Health and Power status, however i doubt there is an option to configure email alert.

Sudhir
