Install Windows Server 2016 On ProLIant DL380p Gen8 with SSDs
I am trying to do a fresh installation of Server 2016 on my DL380p Gen8. I have a new set for Samsung MZLH960 SSD installed. I made the Disk with the ACU. WIndows installer can see the drivers. When I try to make a new partition and start installation it says I can't install because it can't make a partition. I loaded the SMartArray Driver for it but i still won't install. Any ideas why?

Hello,
I found a similar discussion thread which might help you to fix this issue : https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/Unable-to-install-Win-Server-2016-on-DL580-Gen8/td-p/6998795#.YLhT0_kzaMo
Hope it helps!

Re: Install Windows Server 2016 On ProLIant DL380p Gen8 with SSDs
I cannot update provisioning since the computer does not have an OS on it yet. I also can't down the SSP because the service contract for the Gen8 has expired which is ridiculous to me because I have dell servers with the warranty expired yet I can still download critical hardware drivers and firmware.

Re: Install Windows Server 2016 On ProLIant DL380p Gen8 with SSDs
Hello,
I would suggest create raid group first from SSA after use Intelligent Provisioning to install the WS2016.
Follow the below links for your reference.
You can use the user guide of Intelligent Provisioning to install the WS2016
Configuring the server and installing an OS page No#17
