We tried to update our HPE Proliant DL380 Gen10 with a new Intelligent Provision package 3.81, but the USB Stick didn´t boot and wasn´t seen in the boot menu. We retried the recovery media generation with several usb sticks, but there was no change in behaviour. We generated the USB sticks with the tools USB Key, Rufus and "ISO to USB". In the following we used the Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media 3.76 and the USB key was seen by the boot menu and we could flash the Intelligent Provisioning.
Is there any special issue known with the new version of IP 3.81?

This isnt just with the new version. I have had problems with Intelligent Provisioning recognising virtual media for years. It can be very intermitent. I often get frustrated and just boot the iso and install the HPE tools after. Not ideal but often the only option.

SolutionIf you are able to mount the ISO via ILO and facing issues only when using a USB then try to use the HPE USB Key Utility and check:-
