Interpreting BoM for Configure-to-Order Server

I have a PartSurfer BoM for a specific configure-to-order DL 380 server; I pulled it up with my serial number. I am trying to figure out how many GPUs it has and what types, but the entries seem to conflict. The GPU-relevant entries follow:

P29094-001 ------- PCA,NVIDIA A100 40GB PCIE Module (Quantity: 1)

P35731-B21 -------- Z NVIDIA A100 40Gb PCIE MOD (Quantity: 3)

R6B53C ---------- NVIDIA A100 40GB GPU Module for HPE (Quantity: 1)

How would I interpret these entries? I have seen a similar 'Z' + name for other parts (CPU and memory); is there a general way to interpret these?

Re: Interpreting BoM for Configure-to-Order Server

Hello @DSMayer ,

The couple of options here would be:

1. To check in the invoice copy of the server itself for the number of GPUs installed/available.

2. You can even check in the server iLO or OS for the number of GPUs installed in that particular server.

In case if you would like to get the complete details of the number of GPUs and other hardware shipped with the server, you will need to log a case with HPE support to check in our internal links.

Please let us know if you have any further queries.
