Ml 350p gen 8 processor upgrade
hello everyone
I find myself having a problem with a processor upgrade, I would like to switch from an E5 2609 v1 to an E5 2667 v2, but the machine does not boot (even on the bios) the server remains in default.
all motherboard updates have been done.
if you have any ideas of the problem

Re: Ml 350p gen 8 processor upgrade
Hello,
As the server does not complete POST, it is recommended replace the processor that was installed previsouly and check if it boots to the operating system. If it does boot, then upgrade the server's iLO and BIOS and then proceed to perform the hardware uipdate.
Regards,

Re: Ml 350p gen 8 processor upgrade
hello, and thank you for the answer,
that's exactly what I did, but it didn't work, logically all the motherboard is up to date on firmware and bios
