ML30 Gen10 - noise from power supply
Hi,
I launched my ML30 GEn10 server for the first time yesterday.
When I plugged the power cord into the power supply, I started to hear such a soft squeak. It is quiet, but manoeuvrable in the room.
I pulled out the power supply and plugged in the power cord and I can still hear this sound and it comes from the power supply.
Its normal or I need buy new power supply?

Re: ML30 Gen10 - noise from power supply
If redundant power supply running check one by one and if sound still better to replace to new one.
Please share the part or model no of power supply.

Re: ML30 Gen10 - noise from power supply
Power supply noise is the difference between the local voltage references of the driver and the receiver. ... Power supply noise is a dominant factor in the design of wide domino circuits and in circuits using contention where the alternating current (ac) logic level is shifted with respect to power supply rails.
