OG Microserver Gen 10 BIOS Upgrades?
Is there every going to be a new BIOS upgrade for the original generation Microserver Gen10, the last update was released in 2018. Or are these servers officially considered end of life?
I ask because I've been struggling to find a RAID controller that will work with the Microserver. Seems that they won't boot with ANY RAID card installed that has an onboard legacy BIOS, which is most cards older than 2023. Many if not most other servers have an option to disable the option ROM for specific PCI slots to work around this. The BIOS is so crippled on the Microserver however that this isn't an option.
I've been fighting with this box for over a month now trying to find a card that works. Currently have a HP E208i-P on order hoping that will do the trick.
Very frustrating!
