Problems configuring Smart Storage ( No Controllers detected) Proliant DL380 Gen10+

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to configure a new HP Proliant DL380 Gen10+ server, but I have a problem, when I start BIOS mode (F9) I can see RAID controllers and configure Raid, but when I come back to mode (F10) to finish the configuration and install (OS), the system says that it cannot find the Raid drivers, does anyone have an idea of what it could be

thanks in advance

Hi,

Are you referring to this issue?
Advisory: (Revision) HPE Gen10 Plus Servers - RAID Volume Cannot Be Created Under the HPE SR100i Gen10 Plus Software RAID Controller Via Intelligent Provisioning or iLO REST

If not, can you tell us the RAID Controller model, its FW version and which OS you intend to install.

Thank You!

@Suman_1978

Good morning,

The RAID controller is (HPE_SR416), I can create the Raid through the bios (F9), but not through the smart mode (F10), but even creating the RAID through the bios, the disks are not visible through the smart mode (F10), which prevents me from installing Systema OS (Windows Server 2019)

I don't know if HP has changed anything, but before I didn't have this problem, I've already installed about 20 Proliant DL380 Gen9 et 10 servers and never had this kind of problem

Hi,

Please make sure the controller, server and drives attached are compatible with each other.
