Is the E/42 with the round holes?

HP makes, or at least used to make "Universal Rail Kits" for the Proliant Server line. I think the newest rail kits are supposed to be more universal as you can remove/rearrange pieces from them and make them fit any rack... supposedly.

Hello,

yes, the one with the round holes.

I only knew the rails from the G3-Models and they seems to me that they didn't fit.

The G3 rails were NOT the "universally compatible" rails. The G4's come with them now.

The G3 and earlier models usually had an extra kit you can buy to mount them into racks like those.
