Running SUM on old HPE Server - requirements?
Hi all,
Want to update the firmware on a DL360 Gen10. Currently the server is running legacy 2018 code. We have downloaded SUM - are there are requirements for a license or active carepack for SUM to upgrade the firmware on the server?
Historically we do new installs and would use SUM however in these cases the servers would have an existing carepack as standard this has never been a consideration in the past.
Can someone confirm either way?
Cheers.

Re: Running SUM on old HPE Server - requirements?
Hi,
For SUM, there is no contract required but to download SPP the server has to be in active contract.
