Where can I find out information about servers that were purchased and no longer under warranty?

I'm looking to find purchase date and original configuration.

Thank you.  That solves one of the needs.  I was able to find the purchae date information, but didn't see any way to find the original configuration.  Maybe I just don't see the place I need to go.
