TPM in HPE servers
Hello dear friends!
There is a question regarding TPM 2.0 which exists as a selection option when configuring servers. Please tell me if anyone knows how important it is to add this module and if there are those who know how HPE recommends adding it by default
And can you talk about the consequences if you do not lay this module?
Thanks in advance

Re: Query: TPM in HPE servers
I guess it is only useful if you want to use Windows with Bitlocker.
But even in this case it makes more sense to use controller based encryption. So I doubt you will really need the TPM in a server.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: TPM in HPE servers
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Server Security. Select Trusted Platform Module Options and press the Enter key. Select Enabled to enable the TPM and BIOS secure startup. The TPM is fully functional in this mode.
