Unable to enable Full Disk Encryption on MSA 2060 with 12 HPE provided SSDs

Hello and happy Friday,

We recently configured an HPE MSA 2060 with 12  HPE branded and factory sealed (SED-capable?) 3.84TB SAS SSDs. The SMU states that one or more drives is not SED compatible, which i believe is incorrect due to being HPE branded standard factory drives. We have not done a firmware update since installing the device so perhaps that will help. Please let me know how to proceed as we can only use this device in production with encryption at rest.

Please let me know what information may help with diagnosing this issue.

SEAGATE XS3840SE70084 Revision 0003 SSD SAS

MSA firmware IN110P001 on both controllers.

Thank you!

Our drives are not SED-compatible. We needed XS3840SE70104 instead which we didn't know was an option.
