Update Firmware on KVM Console Switch
Good Day All
I am unable to update the firmware on a KVM console switch using hyper terminal.
I have set the port settings as follows:
Bits per second: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: none
After connecting to the KVM switch via hyper terminal and pressing enter all i get is squigly writing in the session. I have tried different bits per second speeds and still have the same problem. Any ideas???

Re: Update Firmware on KVM Console Switch
I believe you can use the console switch software to update the firmware on the console, as well as the kvm adaptors.
You would probably need to get the IP set though first, or find out the default IP and use a crossover (assuming you have an IP based Console Switch.)
I haven't touched one in a while so thats the best I can do at the moment.
