UPS output voltages are low!
Hello everyone,
I bought two UPS R1500 G4 from my friend of a friend and they were seal pack. I made sure they were brand new. When I plugged it in there was no response. The screen did not turn on, and no lights turned on (beside the screen). I checked the voltage on the output plug. There are 5 output plugs (2 black plugs - marked as output 1 & 3 white plugs - marked as output 2). I got a reading of 57V on output 1 (2 black plugs) and 10.3V on output 2 (3 white plugs).
Can someone please help me find the issue?

Re: UPS output voltages are low!
Hi,
AFAIK, R1500 G4, this model is of 2016 to 2018 era.
Going by your problem description, I think you need to check the batteries and may be even update firmware.
Here is the user guide. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c04560765
Thank You!

Re: UPS output voltages are low!
Hi,
Thank you Suman for the help. I tried the recommended step but still I am facing the same issue. If someone can provide a circuit diagram of the G4 R1500 UPS NA, it would be great. I would like to check if any part is blown/fused. By the looks of it, I don't think any part is blown.
Thank you.
