Re: Will HP server support Mellanox CX6 LX/DX?

Hello,

Based on what I see on the Nvidia site, I see the following are the LX and DX adapters:

LX
MCX631102AS-ADAT
MCX631432AS-ADAI

DX
MCX623106AS-CDAT
MCX623106AC-CDAT
MCX623105AS-VDAT
MCX623436AC-CDAB

https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/HNNEAHPS

The ones I bolded above are listed in the quickspecs for the DL360 Gen10 Plus as supported:

https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a50002559enw

(page 54)

These should be supported in the server. The only issue would be if these were not purchased from HPE. If they were not purchased from HPE and if there were some type of HW failure that may require a replacement, then HPE may not be able to do that as it did not come from HPE.

Regards
