Importing 3rd party .jar to HP VAN SDN Controller Application

I'm working on a application for the HP VAN SDN controller with Eclipse and building it with Apache Maven.

How can i import successfuly a .jar that i downloaded? So i don't get any errors when building by typing: mvn clean install
