hello
I'm trying to connect two switches "hp 38000" (95: a4 and 07: a5) openflow 1.0 with one open VSwtich (56: F8) openflow 1.0 as shown in the picture below
the problem is that if I send a packet between the host 192.168.1.80 to 192.168.1.10 does not work, but between the host 192.168.1.80 - 192.168.1.50 and 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.90 it works.
In summary the trunk between the switches (56: f8) and (95: A4) does not work, the next image is the configuration of the open Vswitch
any ideas?
thanks for your help

Re: integrate physical switch with virtual switch
HI Armandom
Your topology is a little bit to small to make the details out. Would you mind supplying one with a bit higher resolution. Also please label the port numbers on the diagrams.
1. Would you mind supplying the configurationfor the 3800s
2. Is the client on the ovswitch running as a vm
3. DId you push any static flows to the switches or are you using path daemon ?
4. On which kind of operating system is you ov-switch ?
Kind Regards
Gerhard

Re: integrate physical switch with virtual switch
hi sorry
sorry for the delay
1) controller vlan =2
openflow vlan =3
trunk port 1/23
2,4) the ovswitch is running in a host with ubuntu 12.04 lts
3) the switches are using path daemon, but on a test I insert a flow to send all traffic through the trunk between k6: f8 and 95: a4 but didn´t work
Thanks

Re: integrate physical switch with virtual switch
Hi Armdom
I need a little bit more information to work with
1. Can you send us the output for "show vlan 3" from the 3800.
2. From the the linux system with the virtualswitches the following please "ethtool -k eth0"
3. Which version of OpenFlow does the respective switches run ?
4. If you run a continues ping from 80 to 10 or 10 to 80 would you mind grabbing the flows(for all tables if applicable) from the virtual switch and the 3800 where the nodes are connected ?
5. What is the OS version on the 3800 ( Curiosity )
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Gerhard
