New free course on SDN from GeorgiaTech / coursera
Just spotted this online SDN course that I thought might be interesting for this group. It isn't sponsored, endorsed, or linked to HP Networking in any way.
Coursera: Software Defined Networking - 26th May
This course will cover 8 modules over the 6 week period.
Module 1: History and evolution of SDN
Module 2: Control and data plane separation
Module 3: Virtual networking
Modules 4 & 5 : SDN Nuts and Bolts
—Control Plane
—Data Plane
Module 6: Programming SDNs
Module 7: Use Cases
Module 8: Looking Forward
Let me know if anyone signs up; and finds it useful.
As an aside - HP is also running the next round of our HP ASE - SDN Developer training course in Grenoble 12-15 May, and Tel Aviv 19-22 May. This is a face/face 4-day course where you'll learn about SDN and how to get started building applications for the HP SDN controller. Complete the attached application form to apply (HP AllianceOne networking partners will get priority access).
