Does HP VAN SDN Controller supports SNMP for Topology discovery?

Hi Atul
The answer is simply no. I do not have a supporting document for that though.
Openflow does topology discovery using LLDP using packet_out and packet_in messages from the controller along with BDDP.
For more details on this I suggest you look at the following Technical SOlutions Guide. This will give you some more insight
