Install Java: requires Java 11 or 17(Download from: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-downloads.html)

Set JAVA_HOME:
Right-click This PC > Properties > Advanced system settings > Environment Variables
Add or update JAVA_HOME to point to your JDK folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17)
Add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to your Path variable.

Installation:

>>Create a Working Directory
1. as C:\AEM
2. Place both the .jar and license.properties files in this folder.

>>Run AEM Author Instance
In the Command Prompt, navigate to AEM folder:
cd C:\AEM>>java -Xmx2048m -jar aem-quickstart.jar -gui

>>Access AEM: After installation completes, open:
http://localhost:PORTNUMBER

>>Default Credentials:
Username: admin
Password: admin
